Ages are as of the day of the audition. These are closed auditions. No parents or outside viewers will be allowed in the EDC building.

SZN 4 auditions will be held at Eternal Dance Company: 1290 N Scottsdale Rd. STE 123 Tempe, AZ 85288. 

Dancers will be taught combinations in both Ballet and Jazz to perform in front of a panel of judges. You will not need to prepare any audition materials before hand.

Dancers auditioning for EDC should have experience in dance and a background with training in multiple dance styles.

EDC is a company of beginning to advanced dancers. Perspective members audition and, when invited to the company, are committing to EDC for one full year (Aug-Jul). EDC dancers, families, and staff share the commitment of achieving goals through hard work, commitment, dedication, and teamwork. As a member of EDC, dancers and families are committing to a year training program.

1. Dancers will need a 8x10 printed colored headshot.

2. Dancers will need to have their audition registration form submitted.

3. Dancers will need to arrive 10 mins early for the first day of auditions May 17th to check-in, turn in their headshot, and pay for auditions (cash/Zelle only).

4. Dancers are welcome to wear any formfitting dance attire that shows off their personality and style.

5. Deadlines: audition registration packet due May 16th, headshot and cash payment due May 17th, and contract due May 19th for dancers that made one of our three teams.

On May 17th, all auditioning dancers will receive an envelope. Inside, dancers will discover whether they have been invited to callbacks or not later that same day. If your dancer was not invited to callbacks, unfortunately, it indicates that we did not see a fit for them on our team for SZN 4. Nevertheless, we would be delighted to talk about how your dancer could enhance their skills for auditions in SZN 5 and take classes to improve.

On May 17th, we will email each family individually with the company welcome packet and contract. Once all information is received and you commit to EDC for SZN 4 we will then email routine placements, installment due amounts, yearly schedule, and more (this normally takes 2-3 weeks).

All audition results are final. Dancers are only permitted to audition once per season. We do not offer an additional audition for dancers who are not accepted into the company.

Contracts Due- Tuesday, May 19th 2026

There will be a mandatory parent meeting held for dancers who have been accepted into Eternal Dance Company. All information regarding pricing, installment dues, class schedule, competition schedule, and further information will be discussed at this meeting. Dancers and parents are required to attend this meeting, the date for this meeting will be shared with those accepted into Eternal Dance Company SZN 4.

Dancers who might not be able to attend the audition date can come to our makeup auditions on June 6th.

If your dancer cannot attend the audition prep classes, audition, or the makeup auditions we will accept virtual auditions. We strongly prefer dancers to audition in-person.
